Fourmile Canyon fire

Buck Research Instruments, LLC would like to thank all of the firefighters that helped with the Fourmile Canyon fire just west of Boulder. We noticed something wrong here on Labor Day when the sun was blotted out of the sky and ash started falling on us. Fortunately, while the fire was less than 4 miles due west of us, the fire never got close enough to Boulder that we had to be evacuated, and that is in large part due to the ceaseless efforts of the firefighters both on the ground and in the air. We also wanted to let everyone know that we are OK, and we are also relieved that no one was injured, resident or firefighter, by the fire.

Web and e-mail outage

Buck Research Instruments experienced a web and e-mail outage from around 3 p.m. on Friday, August 6th until 10 a.m. August 8th. We apologize for the inconvenience. Anyone who tried contacting us by e-mail, those e-mails were bounced. If you could please send those e-mails again, we will respond as quickly as possible.

Alice Buetow

We are sad to announce the passing of Alice Buetow. She is irreplaceable and was instrumental in the success of Buck Research Instruments. Alice will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be held Monday, May 03, 2010, 10:30 AM, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2312 14th Street, Boulder, CO 80301. A service will also be held at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee on Tuesday, May 4th at 2pm. Read her obituary here.

Buck Humidity Calculator app for iPhone now available

CALIBRATIONS ARE IMPORTANT

We offer calibrations for all chilled mirror hygrometers, not just the ones we manufacture. We can do verifications of other humidity sensors, too. All of our calibrations are NIST traceable.
